Introducing the “NETA V-II,” a 100% electric city car with ‘Smart & Play’ concept,

V-II SMART, showcased at the 45th Motor Show,

 

Bangkok (March 25, 2024) – NETA Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd., underlines its development strategy “All in Thailand, All for Thailand” as it officially launches the “NETA V-II,” a 100% electric passenger car in City Car style in Thailand following the concept ‘Smart & Play’. Available in two variants in the Thai market, the NETA V-II LITE is priced at 549,000 baht and the NETA V-II SMART at 569,000 baht. Furthermore, NETA Auto is opening for the first pre-orders of the “NETA X,” a 100% electric SUV, in Thailand prior to the car’s official debut in the second quarter of this year. The company plans to deliver more than 30,000 innovative electric vehicles to Thai customers by the end of 2024. Interested customers are invited to immerse themselves in the elevated 100% electrification experience and receive special promotions and the best financial offers at NETA’s booth at the 45th Motor Show, Impact Challenger Hall 1-3, Muang Thong Thani, from March 27th to April 7th, 2024.

“In 2024, NETA Auto has set a global sales target of 300,000 units, with 100,000 units coming from overseas markets, which we plan to establish a global sales network spanning 60 countries and 300 overseas sales and service outlets across ASEAN, Europe, the Middle East, and our new markets in Africa, Central America, and South America. Thailand is being targeted as one of NETA’s main international markets. With a substantial market share of 17% in 2023, NETA Auto was ranked as the second-largest player in the Thai EV market for the second consecutive year. As of February 2024, the company had already delivered over 15,000 NETA V 100% electric city cars to our valued customers in Thailand,” said Mr. Wang Chengjie. 

 

Mr. Shu Gangzhi, General Manager of NETA Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd., revealed the operational plan of NETA in Thailand that the Thai market this year will witness a new generation of NETA’s developments, with a goal to deliver over 30,000 electric vehicles to Thai customers. In order to achieve this target, the company has launched the development strategy known as “All In Thailand, All For Thailand,” which focuses on five factors as listed below:

 

  • Start localization production with our strategic partners: NETA has commenced mass production of EVs from our factory in Thailand since this March. This marks NETA’s first EV factory outside China and the first EV factory located in an industrial zone in Bangkok. The Thailand factory will help NETA improve its EV production capabilities and will be able to meet the rapidly growing demand of the Thai EV market.
  • Uplift brand image by launching powerful products using advanced technology: NETA aims to launch two new models this year. One is NETA V-II, while the other is NETA X. The EP39, another new model from NETA, will be introduced in the first quarter of next year. NETA promises to launch at least one new model per year, beginning in 2025.
  • Localize the team, ensuring a team member localization ratio of more than 85%: NETA recognized that Thai employees have a unique understanding of Thai customers.
  • Continue developing a profitable network: NETA plans to expand our network of distributors to over 65+ service outlets throughout Thailand by 2024 to make it possible for the company to meet the ever-growing demand for EVs from our customers in terms of sales and maintenance services. 
  • Build a customer-oriented brand: NETA enhances customer loyalty by offering a top-notch customer experience based on exceptional sales and service standards, customer care activities, and VOC management.

 

NETA V-II 

SMART & PLAY

The “NETA V-II,” a 100% electric City Car, which comes under the ‘Smart & Play’ concept is perfect for the new generation’s lifestyle. Sporting a sleek design and full-suite functions, featuring safety, and driving assistance systems, to ensure a more enjoyable and confident journey, the NETA V-II is available in two models: the NETA V-II LITE and the NETA V-II SMART

 

The NETA V-II is a smart electric city car that anyone can own. It features a large 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment display that supports Apple CarPlayTM connectivity, a 12-inch digital driving information display screen, a wireless mobile phone charging system, and a smart key with the Ride & Go system which starts the car as soon as the door is opened. The NETA V-II delivers adequate performance with a 95-horsepower motor and 150 Newton-meter torque, as well as a lithium-ion battery that allows for a maximum driving range of 382 kilometers per one full charge, according to NEDC standards. The NETA V-II, SMART increases confidence on every journey with eight ADAS driving assistance systems, including High Beam Assist (HBA), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Front Vehicle Start Alert (FSA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Integrated Cruise Assist (ICA), as well as Emergency Lane Keeping System (ELKS). Responding to the lifestyles of new generation users, the NETA V-II comes with the V2L (Vehicle to Load) function, which delivers a maximum power of 3,300 watts to its electrical equipment. The vehicle is also outfitted with convenient equipment and full-suite advanced safety features.

 

The NETA V-II offers four standard colors to choose from: White Storm, Midnight Gray, Milk Tea*, Baby Blue* and two special colors: Sakura Pink and Moonlight Green, which are available exclusively only during the Motor Show event. The estimate prices of the NETA V-II LITE is 549,000 baht whereas the NETA V-II SMART is 569,000 baht.

NETA X

All-Electric Compact SUV 

In addition to launching the NETA V-II at this year’s motor show, NETA has opened reservations for the “NETA X,” a 100% electric crossover SUV with extensive interior space and functionality that caters to the new generation’s lifestyle. The NETA X, with a driving range of up to 500 kilometers, is scheduled to be officially launched in Thailand in the second quarter of this year. Those interested in this new model can make reservations starting today.
