Bangkok, November 28, 2022 - Neta Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in partnership with Bangchan General Assembly signed an agreement for Excise Department's EV Incentive Program to produce electric vehicles in Thailand.

Mr. Bao Zhuangfei, General Manager, NETA Auto (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said “On November 24, NETA, together with Bangchan General Assembly Co., Ltd. (BGAC) have signed an agreement for Excise Department's EV Incentive Program to kick off the electric vehicle assembly project at Bang Chan Assembly Plant in Bang Chan Industrial Estate, Khan Na Yao District, Bangkok, to meet the growing demands of electric vehicle in the country. This agreement with Excise Department enables NETA to deliver NETA V electric vehicles at a competitive price from December onwards.

This agreement will enable us to receive the government’s support to drive electric vehicle deployment in Thailand to create memorable experience of using 100% electric vehicles for NETA's customers. This collaboration will follow the timeframe specified by the government.”

NETA's expertise in electric vehicle technology, coupled with BGAC manufacturing capabilities, will ensure NETA’s rapid growth in the Thai market, and enable Thai consumers to benefit from the government's EV policies to match the needs of electric vehicle users in the country,” added Mr. Bao Zhuangfei.

This facility was founded in 1970 and is located on a 53 rais 3 ngans 66.9 sq.wahs within the Bangchan Industrial Estate area. The facility is designed to accommodate future expansions to cater increased market growth and equipped with world-class manufacturing technology.

NETA V : A Touchable Smart EV

NETA V, a 100% electric vehicle, City Car style, comes with ‘Touchable Smart EV’. The exterior is designed to maximize aerodynamics while the interior design is simple but modern featuring a large 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen with a mobile phone connection system. Smart Key and Ride & Go function makes the vehicle ready to go for an exciting drive as soon as the door is opened.

NETA V comes with a 95hp electric motor with 150 Nm of torque, along with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 38.5 kWh. Provides a maximum running distance of 384 kilometers per full charge (NEDC standards). NETA V also features IP67-rated waterproof and dust-resistant battery pack along with HEPT 3.0 battery management system and LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM. Charging time vary from 8 hours for AC normal charge from 0-100% and about 30 minutes for DC Quick Charge from 30-80%.

It also comes with V2L (Vehicle to Load) function which can supply electricity to electrical equipment with a maximum power of 3,300 watts. The passengers can fully enjoy a wide range of smart safety features and unmatched comfort.

NETA V is available in 5 colors, including Cyan Green, White Storm, Sakura Pink, Midnight Grey, and Sky Blue.
